the art of attention

Taking long walks around my neighborhood is how I spend time in nature, and it has become a lifeline through depression. The steady rhythm of my steps, the sway of branches, the endless sky above—they anchor me, soften the weight in my chest, and whisper that healing is possible. I especially love noticing komorebi (木漏れ日)—sunlight filtering gently through the leaves—a fleeting, delicate light that reminds me even in the midst of shadow, there is always a glimmer of hope.

In these quiet, unfolding moments, I am reminded that even on the darkest days, calm, beauty, and renewal are always waiting just beyond the next turn. ♥
